The variety is a tall-growing form characterized by intensive development after sowing. It possesses good sod-forming ability and high resistance to drought conditions; plant roots can penetrate to a depth of 100–200 cm.
The plant is intended for the establishment of hayfields and pastures and is suitable for inclusion in grass mixtures, including those with alfalfa. It can grow on soils requiring less intensive management, including degraded areas. It is used for hay and silage harvesting.
