The plant is a slow-growing dwarf shrub. After 6 years of cultivation, the height reaches 30 cm with a width of 50–60 cm; in mature specimens, the dimensions can be up to 80–100 cm. The crown is very dense and compact.
Leaves are oval or spatulate, lemon-yellow in color, with an orange tint on young growth; in autumn, they turn golden-orange or red tones. In May, the plant blooms with small yellow flowers; by autumn, red oval berries ripen.
The variety possesses good resistance to diseases and pests; hardiness zone 4–5b. It prefers sunny areas and well-drained garden soils and tolerates pruning well. Used for borders, rock gardens, and terrace decoration.
