The variety is late-maturing; technical maturity occurs 120–125 days after emergence. The plant forms a vertical medium-sized rosette with elliptical light green leaves.
The root crops have a round uniform shape with smooth skin. The dense flesh of deep dark maroon color is devoid of radial rings. The variety contains about 8.7% sugars on the Brix scale and is suitable for long-term winter storage.
The plant has high resistance to cercospora leaf spot, bolting, and temperature fluctuations, and the developed root system allows it to withstand drought. The root crop formation features on the soil surface facilitate mechanized harvesting.
