The variety is a specialized forage crop. It was developed at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Zagreb and was widely used in the agriculture of Croatia and neighboring countries as a highly productive source of green fodder.

In agronomic studies, the variety demonstrates high indicators of nutrient content, including proteins. The crop is suitable for cultivation under various sowing regimes, including primary, sequential, and post-harvest.
