The plant belongs to the marrow-stem kale type with a stem height of about 65 cm. The variety has high palatability and is used primarily for grazing sheep and other livestock, as well as cover for game.
The variety has moderate winter hardiness and is able to maintain foliage quality during the winter period better than many giant varieties. In terms of dry matter volume, it is inferior to tall-growing varieties, but superior to them in the nutritional properties of the stem.
