The variety is early-ripening; technical maturity occurs in 55 days, biological maturity in 75 days. The plant is of the open-pollinated (heirloom) type. The fruits have a characteristic flattened, ribbed, globular shape, 5–6.5 cm in height and 7.5–9 cm in width.
The flesh of the pepper is very thick, sweet, and has a distinct flavor. The variety is suitable for culinary use, salads, drying, and is also ideal for stuffing, including with cheese mixtures. It is sometimes classified as a Ratunda type.
