The tree of this variety is characterized by moderate growth vigor. The yield of the variety can be irregular. The variety is indigenous and was selected under natural conditions in the Ardèche region.

The nuts are of the marron type and are large to very large in size. The maturity period is defined as early-to-mid. The nut flesh can sometimes have a yellowish tint.
