The tree has a spreading crown of rounded or conical shape. The variety is late-ripening; fruit harvesting occurs in October — November. Entering into fruiting is possible in the 2–6 year after planting.
The fruits are distinguished by their large size, shiny shell, and tender sweetish pulp, which separates easily after heat treatment. The tree is hardy, belonging to USDA hardiness zone 5. It prefers well-drained slightly acidic loams or sandy soils in sunny areas.
The variety is used as a fruit crop, as well as in landscape design due to its decorative foliage and crown shape.
