The fruits of the variety have an elongated-elliptical shape and a shiny reddish-brown color with dark long stripes. During heat treatment of the fruits, there is a tendency for an increase in starch content.
The variety is adapted to cultivation in mountainous regions at an altitude of more than 500 meters above sea level. Historically, cultivation is carried out with minimal use of fertilizers and infrequent phytosanitary treatments.
The fruits of this variety are used in the food industry, including for the production of flour, and are also consumed roasted.
