The variety is late-maturing; fruit ripening occurs after November 11. Nuts are of medium size with an average weight of about 8 g. The fruits are suitable for processing, in particular for making purée and marmalade.

A feature of the fruits is the frequent presence of more than 12 segments inside the shell. Separation of the inner skin (pellicle) from the kernel is difficult, as it penetrates the cotyledons in 10–75% of cases. The variety is traditionally used in local farming and is considered part of the genetic heritage of the region.
