The variety is industrial and is used in experimental studies of genetic diversity, as well as in work on the cultivation of hairy roots for the analysis of secondary metabolites, such as lactucin-like sesquiterpene lactones.
According to the UPOV classification, the plant belongs to the group with low height at the end of the first vegetation period, and the inulin content in its roots is assessed as low.
