The plant is a complex hybrid derived from crossing Siamese Sweet, King mandarin, and Dancy tangerine. In a warm climate, the tree grows large and vigorous, while in cool conditions it exhibits compact, almost dwarf growth.

Fruits ranging in size from a large orange to a grapefruit have thin, smooth yellow peel that separates easily. The yellow-orange flesh is characterized by a loose structure and high juiciness. The variety belongs to the early winter group; the fruits ripen from November to February and remain on the tree for a long time.

The variety is versatile in use, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing. Due to its compactness in cold climates, the plant is often used for container cultivation.
