The variety is a hybrid created within the breeding program of the Volcani Institute. The fruits are comparable in size to a grapefruit, characterized by a golden-yellow rind color, high juice content, and absence of seeds.

The flavor profile is characterized by sweetness, moderate acidity, and a slight bitterness with distinct tropical aromas. The ripening period of the fruits occurs from November to February, with the fruits having the ability to remain on the tree for an extended period.
