The tree is vigorous, energetic, with a spreading crown and sturdy, thornless branches. Leaves are large, stiff, dark green, round or elongated-oval in shape, tending to curve like a "boat". Flowers are large, white, and fragrant.

Fruits are medium-sized, round, slightly flattened at the poles, with smooth greenish-yellow or yellow rind. The flesh is light yellow, juicy, with a bittersweet taste and moderate bitterness. The variety is sensitive to frost and requires a hot climate.

Fruits are capable of remaining on the tree for a long time and are suitable for storage after harvest. The variety is foundational for the breeding of pigmented grapefruit varieties.
