The variety is source material for breeding other varieties, including through obtaining mutations via gamma irradiation of buds. The harvest period in Mpumalanga occurs at the end of May and lasts about a month.
The fruit has an oval or spherical shape, with average dimensions of 78.8 by 77.2 mm. The rind is approximately 5.5 mm thick and is difficult to separate from the flesh. The flesh is white with moderately firm membranes, and the sugar level is 13.1 °Brix.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption, juice production, and use as segments. Information regarding tree height and disease resistance is unavailable.
