The plant is vigorous, productive, and prone to upright growth. Leaves are lanceolate, with rounded tips and slightly serrated edges. The variety possesses the ability to flower and fruit multiple times throughout the year.

Fruits are medium-sized, firm, and oblong in shape. Historically, two types are distinguished: Lustrino with smooth skin weighing less than 80 g and Fusillo weighing from 100 g. The peel is bright yellow, moderately thick, and aromatic. The pulp is yellow, juicy, with a high content of citric acid and vitamin C, and contains seeds.
