The variety is a nucellar clone obtained in 1978 through in vitro tissue culture. The plant has moderate to high vigor, a tendency toward vertical crown development, and is virtually thornless. Young shoots are light green in color.

The plant is remontant, capable of almost continuous flowering and fruiting. In Italian conditions, the main harvest matures from October to December. Buds and flowers are pure white, without purple shades. Fruits are oval or slightly rounded, weighing 130–160 g, with smooth yellow peel and juicy, acidic pulp.

The variety has tolerance to the fungal disease mal secco (Phoma tracheiphila), although its resistance is not absolute.
