The tree is medium-sized, easily trained, with a moderately dense crown and a small number of thorns. The variety is remontant, capable of blooming several times a year, which allows for harvesting at different times, including the autumn-winter, spring, and summer periods.

The fruits are large, oval-shaped, with a characteristic blunt nipple at the apex. The peel is of medium thickness, smooth or slightly bumpy, bright yellow in color. The pulp is very juicy, tender, and contains seeds in the amount of 2 to 12 pieces.

The variety has medium tolerance to 'mal secco' disease. In modern practice, nucellar clones obtained to increase genetic purity and yield are the most widespread. The crop is versatile in use, suitable for commercial production and container gardening.
