Variety description

The vine reaches 1.5–2 meters in height. The flowers are very large, 13–20 cm in diameter, consisting of 6 wide elliptical petals with wavy edges, colored pinkish-blue with a lighter center. The stamens are whitish with brown anthers.

Flowering occurs from July to September. The variety belongs to pruning group 3, in which shoots are shortened in autumn to 5–15 cm from the ground level. The plant is winter-hardy, has normal disease resistance, and can be grown in partial shade, including in containers.

The plant contains substances capable of causing skin irritation upon contact.
