Cydora Robusta
ActiveCydonia oblonga Mill. · Quince
10 August 2026
The rootstock belongs to the Angers quince group and is used to reduce the vigor of grafted trees by 30–50% compared to seedling rootstock. Its winter hardiness is down to -26 °C, and the root system has a shallow distribution type.
The rootstock has good compatibility with most pear varieties, including Conference and Hardy. For varieties with poor compatibility, such as Williams, Bosc, or Clapp, the use of an interstock is mandatory in nursery production.
