The EM-A rootstock is characterized by a semi-dwarfing growth habit, providing less vigor for the grafted tree compared to vigorous rootstocks, but more than the EM-C rootstock. The use of this rootstock promotes good productivity of grafted varieties and the production of high-quality marketable fruit.
The plant is well-suited for cultivation on fertile, slightly acidic soils. The material is intended exclusively for nursery purposes and use in commercial horticulture for grafting fruit crops.
