The Etrusco variety is a hybrid bred by crossing the A4 clone and the Castellammare variety. Morphologically, it differs from the Romanesco type by its more elongated head shape.
The variety has high yield. Scientific research has recorded the use of this variety in in vitro micropropagation experiments.
