The variety is the result of breeding work according to the scheme (Castellammare × Purpleto di Toscana) × Terom. The heads have an oval shape, high density, and a large number of bracts.

The plant possesses high vegetative vigor and requires a low amount of cold during the winter period. Harvest dates fall a few days after the Romanesco C3 variety.
