The variety is a Romanesco-type hybrid and is one of the first suitable for propagation by seeds, which allows the artichoke to be cultivated in an annual cycle. The plants are used to produce marketable products intended for both the fresh market and industrial processing.

The inflorescences are medium-sized, spherical in shape, and purple in color. The plants are characterized by vigorous growth and a high concentration of potassium, calcium, and magnesium in their composition. Cultivation technology from seeds allows for a reduction in the need for pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers compared to traditional methods of vegetative propagation.

The variety possesses good adaptability and has been used in experimental cultivation systems, including hydroponics.
