Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 1.0–1.5 m and forms a robust rosette of large pinnately dissected grey-green leaves up to 1.0 m wide. The variety forms large green heads, which produce striking blue-violet flowers when fully opened.

The variety is productive in the first year of planting; in temperate climates, it is grown as an annual via seedlings. Harvesting is carried out from July to September before the inflorescences open. The plant possesses vigorous growth and requires regular watering and nutrient-rich soil.

The variety has a certain resistance to low temperatures, but requires protection in cold climates. Due to its ornamental appearance, it is often used in landscape design.
