The variety belongs to the mid-season group. During the period of zoning in the USSR, it provided grain yields ranging from 12 to 21 c/ha, which exceeded the indicators of standard varieties of that time.
The plant is used as a traditional cereal crop. The variety is also known among beekeepers as a honey plant, the intensity of nectar secretion of which depends on weather conditions and moisture availability.
