The variety is a mid-season annual thermophilic plant. The stem is hollow, strong, can reach a height of up to 1 meter, and its color varies from red-pink to purple. The root system is taproot, weakly branched.
The plant is sensitive to late spring frosts; sowing is recommended at a soil temperature of no less than 7–8 ºC. The variety is capable of germinating effectively in drought conditions and suppressing weeds. In agronomy, it is valued for its phytosanitary effect when used as a preceding crop.
The variety's produce is used in the food industry. Flour from the seeds of this variety is used in scientific research for the analysis of nutritional value, in particular, protein and starch content.
