The variety belongs to the subspecies vulgare, variety alata. The growing season is 80–84 days. Breeding was conducted by selecting white-flowered plants with high productivity indices from material that had undergone pre-sowing gamma irradiation of seeds.
The plant possesses high ecological plasticity and stability under various cultivation conditions. The variety shows tolerance to infection with buckwheat "burn" virus, the mechanism of which is associated with increased ribonuclease activity in tissues. It is distinguished by high field germination of seeds, reaching 90.6%.
The variety is a grain type and is intended for the production of groats. Due to its characteristics, it is used in breeding programs as a source of adaptive traits.
