The «Mammoth» variety appears in summary tables of tall fescue trials, where its participation in tests and yield indicators are recorded. At the same time, in agricultural literature, the name «Mammoth» often refers to other crops, such as red clover or species of wild rye, which creates a risk of confusion.
Reliable information on the origin, breeding, morphological traits, or disease resistance of the variety is not presented in available agronomic references. Information on the variety's participation in trials is limited to regional data, in particular, publications on forage crops in the state of Kentucky.
