The variety has a genetic base consisting of experimental Simplot lines, as well as the varieties Pixie, Alamo, Brandy, Arid, Coronado, Normarc 99, and Monarch. It is intended for creating high-quality surfaces on sports fields, playgrounds, and golf courses, and is often used in mixtures.

The plant has a dark green color, good turf density, and improved leaf texture. The variety exhibits high resistance to leaf rust, gray leaf spot, and pink snow mold. It is characterized by adaptability to the climate of the transition zone, the ability to tolerate heat and high humidity, and reduced growth intensity of the above-ground biomass.
