The variety is fast-growing and tall, forming a loose bunch with long and wide leaves. Due to an aggressive root system, it is effectively used for soil stabilization on slopes and waterways.
The plant possesses above-average resistance to stem rust and high establishment rate. The variety is free of endophytes, which makes it safe for grazing by all types of livestock, including horses.
It is used for the establishment of hayfields and pastures, overseeding into sparse stands, and use in mixtures with other perennial grasses and legumes.
