The FRAKASANA (or Fracasana) variety belongs to the category of self-fertile figs that do not require pollination. In the Greek agronomic tradition, the variety name coincides with the term for inedible fruits of the first harvest, known as caprifigs.

The plant belongs to the bifera type, producing two harvests per season: the June harvest, consisting of inedible fruits, and the August harvest, consisting of medium-sized edible fruits. The fruits have white skin and are characterized by a honey flavor profile with a mild floral note.
