Variety description

10 August 2026

The Gentile variety belongs to the San Pedro type, which implies the presence of two harvests: the first develops parthenocarpically, the second may require pollination by blastophaga depending on conditions and the clone. The plant is characterized as compact or medium-sized, reaching a height of 2–3 meters.

The fruits of the variety have green-yellow skin and sweet amber-pink flesh with a delicate texture. The variety is intended for fresh consumption; however, in excessively hot and dry climate conditions, the fruits may lose their quality and become tough.
