The fig variety MOLONDRA (or Molondra Blanca) is part of the historical genetic pool of the Balearic Islands. It is a bifera variety, producing two harvests per season: breba and the main autumn crop. The plant is suitable for container cultivation.

Fruits are medium-sized. The Molondra Blanca variety has yellowish-green skin with a reddish-purple blush; the MOLONDRA variety features a predominantly reddish-purple background with light green shades. The fruit flesh is dense, sweet, and blood-red in color.

The variety is characterized by good resistance to precipitation and fruit cracking, which allows for a high-quality harvest in conditions of high humidity. Intended for fresh consumption.
