The Tres Fan Carga variety is a traditional Spanish fig, also known as Pecho de Reina. The tree is vigorous, with dense foliage and predominantly three-lobed leaves with serrated and wavy margins.
The plant belongs to the San Pedro type, which implies the necessity of caprification for obtaining full-fledged autumn figs. Breba ripen from the end of June to the beginning of July, are top-shaped, have an average weight of about 105 g, caramel-pink pulp, and are distinguished by medium-high yield.
The autumn fig crop ripens from the end of August to mid-September, characterized by low yield, an average fruit weight of about 63 g, and a sweet taste. The variety is sensitive to low temperatures, which can damage the breba crop.
