The variety is a spring barley intended for malting purposes. The plant possesses genetic resistance to powdery mildew, due to the presence of specific genes Mla7 and MlLa. During field trials, the average plant height was 58.34 cm, and the thousand kernel weight reached 42.61 g.

The variety was bred during the existence of Czechoslovakia and was historically used in breeding programs to improve agronomic qualities and malt characteristics. Currently, samples of the variety are preserved in genetic resource collections and germplasm banks.
