Variety description

The variety was bred in the Alsace region of France through selection, presumably as a result of crossing the Strisselspalt and Cascade varieties. The hop possesses agronomic stability and can be used for both bittering and aroma, making it suitable for IPA, pale ales, saisons, and lagers.
The alpha-acid content is 6.5–8.5%, beta-acids are 3.1–3.8%, and the cohumulone share is in the range of 29–39% of alpha-acids. The total oil content is 1.0–1.5 ml/100 g. The aromatic profile includes distinct notes of orange, melon, lychee, pear, grape, and rose.
