The variety is a descendant of the American hop Cascade and a breeding line from Hüll resistant to powdery mildew. It belongs to late-maturing varieties and shows good resistance to powdery mildew and downy mildew, as well as tolerance to wilt and aphids. The yield is approximately 2000–2500 kg/ha.

The alpha-acid content varies from 7.0 to 10.5%, beta-acid from 4.0–7.0%, and cohumulone from 31–35%. The total essential oil content is 1.1–2.2 ml/100 g, with myrcene predominating in the composition. The variety is classified as aromatic or dual-purpose and is characterized by notes of mandarin, orange, pineapple, lemon, and grapefruit.
