The plant is distinguished by large, heavy cones and requires the use of standard trellis systems. The variety is a descendant of the American variety Galena and an unnamed German male plant. Despite its high overall disease resistance, it remains susceptible to powdery mildew.

The hop contains 11% to 16% alpha acids with low cohumulone levels, which ensures a harmonious taste of the product. The aromatic profile of the variety is rated as moderate, with the presence of spicy, herbal, and citrus notes. The variety has excellent storage stability.
