The Lotus variety was developed as a result of a breeding program, with its pedigree including the varieties Apollo, Cascade, and the Japanese variety Eastern Gold. It is an aromatic hop intended for use in the brewing industry.
The aromatic profile is characterized by intense notes of orange, vanilla, tropical fruits, grapes, and berry nuances. The variety has progressed from an experimental sample to a commercial release and is suitable for industrial cultivation.
