The variety is the result of breeding aimed at combining noble Czech character with a more expressive aromatic profile. The aroma is dominated by notes of grapefruit, lemon, lime and tangerine peel, complemented by shades of papaya, pineapple, peach, berries, mint, lemon balm and cilantro.

The alpha-acid content is 5.0–8.0%, beta-acids 4.0–6.0%, cohumulone 35–40%, the total essential oil content varies from 0.9 to 1.8 ml/100 g. The variety is intended for bittering and aromatization, and is used in late and dry hopping in various beer styles.
