The variety is intended for use in various beer styles, including lagers and ales. Crop yield varies from 1700 to 2300 kg/ha. The variety is characterized by lower resistance to downy mildew compared to a number of other Czech varieties.
Alpha acid content is 3.0–6.0%, beta acids — 3.0–4.0%, cohumulone — 25–30% of alpha acid content. Total oil content is in the range of 0.6–1.0 ml/100 g. The aromatic profile includes notes of resin, pine, fresh herbs, and spices.
