The variety was obtained in 1989 as a result of crossing the female line K843502179 and the male parent Saaz. It is a mid-early variety; in Japanese conditions, harvesting occurs in August. The plant has a cylindrical shape and large bracts, and possesses good drought tolerance.

Alpha-acid content varies from 2.5 to 7.5%, beta-acids from 5.5 to 7%. The cohumulone level is 15–16%. High linalool content contributes to the formation of a pronounced floral and fruity aromatic profile. Yield is approximately 1.36 t/ha.
