The variety is a descendant of the Northern Brewer variety and is used in brewing for the preparation of lagers and pilsners. Its profile is characterized as clean and refreshing, with the presence of notes of fennel, juniper, or curry. The variety is considered an aromatic alternative to the Lubelski hop or a spicy version of the Willamette variety.

The plant belongs to the mid-early maturity group. During the research period, the variety demonstrated high yield, exceeding 2000 kg/ha, and increased resistance to diseases. Currently, the Lomik variety is not in commercial cultivation.
