The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing Brewer’s Gold and a Yugoslavian variety. The plant forms compact cones and is noted for its resistance to most hop pests and diseases, while its yield is assessed as moderate, amounting to approximately 2200–2500 kg/ha.

The chemical composition is characterized by a beta-acid content at the level of 10.0–13.0% and cohumulone within the range of 26–33% of alpha-acids. The total essential oil content is 1.6–2.2 ml/100 g of dry hops, in the profile of which humulene and myrcene dominate.

The aromatic profile includes spicy, herbal, floral, and resinous notes, as well as shades of anise, licorice, fennel, lemon, and grapefruit. The variety is suitable for most beer styles, including pilsners, lagers, pale ales, porters, and bitters.
