MYROBALAN C29 is a selected variety of cherry plum used in nursery production as a rootstock for various stone fruit crops. The variety is suitable for vegetative propagation by cuttings and is widely used in European horticultural practice.

When using this rootstock, phytosanitary requirements mandate obligatory control for the presence of viral diseases, in particular Plum pox virus, Prunus dwarf virus, and Prunus necrotic ringspot virus. Since the variety is a rootstock, fruit characteristics or maturity dates are not defined for it.
