Variety description

10 August 2026

Silver Lining is a vigorously growing vine that attaches to supports with aerial roots. Leaves are rounded or ovate, dark green in color with a pronounced white or cream margin. The mature plant reaches a height of 3 to 15 meters with a crown width of approximately 3 meters.

It blooms in June–July with large, flat, corymbose inflorescences 15–25 cm in diameter, consisting of small fertile and larger sterile flowers. The variety prefers fertile, moist soils and tolerates conditions from sun to partial shade, with the variegation manifesting more brightly under sufficient lighting.

The plant possesses high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good winter hardiness (zone 4–5). It is used for decorating facades, gazebos, pergolas, tree trunks, or as a groundcover plant.
