Izu-no-Odoriko is a vigorously growing deciduous shrub, the height of which varies from 1 meter and more. The plant belongs to a group of varieties with flat inflorescences consisting of fertile and sterile flowers.
The sterile flowers have a double structure and white coloration, which may acquire a slight pinkish hue as they develop. The flowering period lasts from July to September. The variety is characterized by frost resistance and the ability to reproduce naturally by layering.
