The variety has a height of 1.2 to 1.8 m. Inflorescences consist of sterile flowers with serrated petal edges and fertile flowers, the color of which depends on the soil acidity level. The plant is also known as «Grant's Choice».

The flowering period lasts from July to September. The variety is characterized by moderate winter hardiness down to -12 °C and sensitivity to direct sunlight, therefore it is recommended for planting in partial shade. Suitable for solitary plantings, flower beds, and container cultivation.
