The variety is a diploid form of Italian ryegrass. The plant is characterized by intensive growth, good digestibility, and a later entry into the reproductive phase compared to similar varieties. With proper management, it is cultivated as a biennial plant.
The variety is intended for the formation of pastures and forage harvesting. Due to its ability for rapid rooting and early spring development, it is effectively used in mixtures with legumes, for example with red clover, to ensure high feed quality.
